3D Seismic Survey in Azadegan Oil Field Area in Iran
JOGMEC conducted a field survey in the Azadegan oil field area in close cooperation with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). We acquired and processed the 3D seismic data in 2003. We made our interpretation and the results were provided to design an optimized field development plan.
The Burgos Basin in Mexico
JOGMEC is conducting a collaborative study in the Burgos Basin, Mexico with PEMEX Exploración y Producción (PEMEX E&P), Mexico's national oil company. The study began in October 2003, and continues today. The objectives of the study are to investigate the feasibility of S-wave seismic techniques and to evaluate undeveloped gas reservoirs of the Cuitlahuac Gas Field. In 2003 and 2004, we studied the field with existing seismic and well data.
