JOGMEC and NOGA signed MOC

On March 21 in Tokyo, Japan, Mr. Hirobumi Kawano, President of Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC), and on behalf of the National Oil and Gas Authority of Bahrain (NOGA), H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, singed the Memorandum of Co-operation (MOC) to build mutually co-operative relationships in the field of oil and natural gas development with attendance of H.R.H. Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Mr. Isshu Sugawara, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan.
Under the MOC, JOGMEC and NOGA will commence sharing information pertaining to the exploration and development of oil and gas in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

It is expected that the MOC will strengthen the relationships between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japanese companies including JOGMEC, and contribute to further develop Bahrain economy, and enhance oil and gas production.
