JOGMEC and H2Global signed Memorandum of Understanding to promote the clean hydrogen society

Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) and H2Global Stiftung (H2Global) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to initiate the cooperation in the area of clean hydrogen.
Hydrogen and its derivatives play a key role in the energy transition. After the Revision of JOGMEC Act in 2022, JOGMEC has been working to promote the production and use of hydrogen through various channels including information sharing and financial support.
 
H2Global was established in 2021 to accelerate the emergence of markets for clean hydrogen and other low-emissions technologies globally through market-based instruments. Due to its high adaptability to diverse policy priorities, H2Global is working with countries around the world.
 
The MOU beween JOGMEC and H2Global marks the beginning of a close cooperation, focusing on key topics such as regulation, technology and supply chains. Through this new partnership, JOGMEC and H2Global aim to contribute to the emergence of a clean hydrogen society.
