Mr. FUJINO is now in charge of General Coordination, Financial Management & Accounting, Evaluation and Research & Analysis as a successor to Mr. Hisanori NEI who left JOGMEC on March 31, 2014.
Mr. WATANABE is now in charge of Stockpile Unit as a successor to Mr. Naoyuki HINATA who left JOGMEC on March 31, 2014.
Mr. FUJINO and Mr. WATANABE’s brief histories are described below.

Mr. Shinji FUJINO entered the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industries (METI), the Government of Japan in 1987. He has over ten years of experience in energy policy in METI.
He worked in the International Energy Agency (IEA, Paris) from September 2008 to June 2012. As Head of Country Studies Division, he reviewed energy policies of the IEA member countries.
Since July 2012, he has been working in JOGMEC (Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation) as Director General of Business Strategy Department, Oil & Gas Upstream Business Unit.
He majored in physics, and has a BA and a Master in Science from the University of Tokyo.
