JOGMEC is pleased to announce that the JOGMEC Techno Forum 2014 will be held on November 26 and November 27, 2014 at the Palace Hotel Tokyo.
JOGMEC Techno Forum 2014 is a part of our new “Technical Solutions Project” that was launched last year. We will invite speakers from national oil companies, international oil companies, and Japanese companies, from whom we expect to gain insights into the use of innovative technologies in natural resource development for creating new business opportunities. The speakers will discuss about challenges in resources development and expectations for technological innovations, including cutting-edge Japanese technologies. JOGMEC’s “Technical Solutions Project” aims at strengthening relations between Japanese companies and natural resource producing countries / industries, which have high expectations for Japanese technologies.
The last year's Forum ended on a high note with more than 650 participants, far more than the 500 initially expected. At this year's Forum, representatives from national oil companies, international oil companies, and Japanese companies will talk about the technology frontier, future trends in oil and gas business, initiatives to overcome technological challenges, and expectations for Japanese technologies. In addition, in technology-themed sessions, speakers will address Japanese innovations with future potentials. Furthermore, this year’s Forum includes a new poster exhibition of Japanese technologies.
