Revised on February 25, 2012

JOGMEC (Headquarters: Tokyo, President: Hirobumi Kawano) plans to launch the "Project for Promotion of Innovative Technologies" from FY2013 with the purpose of strengthening relationships with resource-rich countries.
Prior to its start, JOGMEC held the "JOGMEC Pre-Techno Forum" on January 28, 2013, with the purpose of introducing JOGMEC's activities to Japanese companies with innovative and cutting-edge technologies that are currently not directly used in oil and gas industries.
JOGMEC plans to host the "JOGMEC Techno Forum 2013" on May 7-8, 2013 in Tokyo, where JOGMEC introduces trends in oil and gas development and technologies with guests from several foreign national oil companies.
